Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by The Diabetes Way and the Website. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. Use of Cookies
The Website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Website services or websites you visit.

One of the primary purposes of enabling and allowing cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Website pages, or register with The Diabetes Way for products or services, a cookie helps us to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same website, the cookies recall the features that you customized.

We collect many different types of information from cookies and other technologies. For example, we may collect information from the devices you use to access our Website, your operating system type or mobile device model, browser type, domain, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time zone of your device. Browsers routinely send these types of information to web servers. Our server logs also record the Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses of the devices you use to interact with the Website. An IP address is a unique identifier that devices use to identify and communicate with each other on the Internet. We may also collect information about the Website you were visiting before you came to our Website and the Website you visit after you leave the Website, if this information is supplied to us by your browser.

Pixel tags and web beacons are tiny graphic images placed on Website pages or in our emails that allow us to determine whether you have performed specific actions. When you access these pages or open email messages, the pixel tags and web beacons generate a notice of that action to us, or our service providers. These tools allow us to measure response to our communications and improve our web pages and promotions.

In many cases, the information we collect using cookies, pixel tags, and other tools is used in non-identifiable ways, without any reference to Personal Information. For example, we use information we collect about Website users to optimize our Website and understand its traffic and usage patterns. In other cases, we associate the information we collect using cookies and related technologies with Personal Information. In that case, this Privacy Policy governs how we use that information.   Lastly, we may use analytics software tools, including but not limited to Google Analytics, and other optimization services for our Website.  For those purposes, we use anonymous, de-identified and/or aggregated information and not any personally-identifiable information of a specific user.
